In the project Vanity Fair, Hauser captured flowers in a public park in Zurich on black and white film. After developing the film rolls, he printed a selection of images directly in the Kulturfolger exhibition space (lit with red light only) without fixing them and thus still sensitive to daylight. The prints, after being sold affordably to visitors first come first serve, would enter the unprotected sphere of normal light outside the artspace and start to transform and “decay” each to a unique outcome.
